Components for plant builders, machine builders and system integrators

Your own quotation to the end customer binds you for four weeks, so the component price inside it is not a lookup — it is a margin you have already signed away. On shukchok it comes as a document with a number, a date and a validity date.

Your costing

A screenshot does not survive a quotation period

You cost a plant for an end customer, and your own quotation binds you for four weeks. The component price in it came out of a basket: a snapshot, without a number anyone could refer to, and worth nothing in a project file.

If the price then rises, you carry the difference. If you send an enquiry instead, you carry the time — and the end customer waits for a figure that has existed all along.

So a quotation on shukchok — an open marketplace for industrial goods — is a commercial document: its own number, a date, a validity date, available as a PDF in the customer account and redeemable from there. Price, tax and total are calculated on the server from the catalogue data rather than from anything the browser sent.

  • Specification table on all 114 articles — nominal size, material, connection, operating limits
  • Manufacturer and supplier at every position, for the component list you hand your customer
  • A quotation covers exactly one line item today; for a bill of materials there is the contact route

From specification to goods inwards

Four stages — and two deadlines that go missing in a project

The two deadlines are in stages three and four, and both of them are usually discovered afterwards.

  1. Specify and request

Every article carries a structured specification table — nominal size, material, connection, operating limits — so the selection can be made at the position. Request a quotation at the article for the item you have to price.

  2. Quotation in the account

Number, date and validity date on a PDF you can attach to your own costing. It stays retrievable in the account and can be redeemed there once the project is released.

  3. Order and partial delivery

Where goods come from several suppliers, partial delivery is the normal case and may be invoiced separately. For a project milestone the date that counts is the last partial delivery, not the order date.

  4. Inspection on receipt

The duty to inspect starts on delivery, not when the part is fitted. Obvious defects have to be notified without undue delay (§ 377 German Commercial Code), and in a project the weeks between delivery and assembly sit exactly in that gap.

Readable before you order

The project-relevant rules, with their reference

Readable before the order rather than after the incident. All references are to our general terms and conditions.

Checked against the current terms on 8 August 2026. Two of these rows decide a project date: the delivery-time clause, because a binding date is obtainable but not preset, and the unloading clause, because a machine delivered to a site without a forklift is the item that ruins the day.

For manufacturers and suppliers

You buy here — and you could sell here

On a marketplace a plant builder is almost always both. What you manufacture yourself — assemblies, special valves, switchgear components — is what the works that is ordering its sensor on this page is looking for. Listing costs you no joining fee and no monthly charge.

And it is at the same time the answer to the gap this page has to name honestly: PDF data sheets exist for four of 114 articles, no article references EN 10204, and one carries a 3D model. The purchasing side is what the catalogue carries fully today; the design side is the open position.

A manufacturer who maintains models and certificates anyway does not have to build a shop for them. They store the files on the article and deliver through the same basket — and this side of the marketplace grows at the rate such suppliers come in.

  • No joining fee, no minimum term, no waiting for a product release
  • Your prices and your article data stay in your hands
  • Checkout, invoicing and payment handling run through us

Questions from plant and machine builders

What gets settled before the release

Can I get a quotation with a validity date for my costing?
Yes. A quotation carries its own number, a date and a validity date and is available as a PDF in your customer account, where it can also be redeemed. Price, tax and total are calculated on the server.
We need a whole bill of materials priced — is that possible?
Not through the quotation route, which covers one line item. Send the list through the contact form with the quotation topic and we will price it manually — that is a manual process, and we say so rather than letting you find out.
Is the stated delivery time binding?
Not by default. Under clause 8.1 delivery times are non-binding unless expressly designated as binding, and they are subject to timely self-supply. A binding date is obtainable — ask for it in writing before you promise it onward.
Will an order containing parts from several suppliers arrive in one shipment?
Usually not. Partial delivery is the normal case for goods from several suppliers and may be invoiced separately (clause 8.9). Plan the project date around the last partial delivery.
We manufacture ourselves. What does it cost to list here?
Nothing up front: no joining fee, no monthly charge and no manual product release. We earn on the margin of a position that sells. You keep your prices, and manufacturer and supplier are named visibly at your position.

Two ways in

Price the position before the project is released

A quotation with number, date and validity — to attach to your own costing and redeemable once the order arrives. And if you manufacture yourself: the people who buy from you are reading the same page.
