Thermal capsule vent for automatic discharge of air and air-steam mixtures from steam lines and steam chambers of heat exchangers. The balanced capsule opens in the presence of air and closes automatically as soon as steam is present.

Selection Notes
- Max. operating pressure PMO 13 bar g (at 220 °C): the AV13 is not suitable for higher system pressures
- Limits are coupled: PMA 16 bar g applies up to 120 °C, TMA 250 °C up to 7 bar g; min. operating temperature 0 °C
- 1/2" connection as Rp (BSP, ISO 7-1) or NPT: check the thread type against the pipework before ordering
- Install with the capsule horizontal and the cap on top; pipe the discharge to a safe place (up to 100 °C)
- Allow 55 mm withdrawal distance for the cap; capsule and seat can be replaced with the vent in the line
