Our new shop is live

shukchok is online. I am glad about that, and here is what you will find in it.

We have been selling industrial supplies for years — by telephone, by e-mail, with quotations as PDF. That works as long as you already know whom to call. Anyone who did not know us had no way in. Now there is one.

This is not a catalogue that was switched on overnight. Every item was entered with its manufacturer number and its customs tariff number, because that is what a buyer needs before ordering, not after.

Two roles, and you can always see which one applies

For part of the range we are the seller and your contracting party ourselves. For supplier goods it is the company named on the item; we issue the invoice. Which of the two applies is stated on the product page, not in the small print.

The difference is not a formality. It decides who delivers, who carries the liability for defects, and where a return goes.

What mattered to us

Prices net and gross, so that nobody has to do the arithmetic. The customs tariff number on the item, because every consignment crossing a border needs one. The technical data on the page, as far as the manufacturer publishes them.

And a statement of availability that means what it says: “in stock” here refers to the warehouse, not to whether the button can be clicked.

Tell us what is missing

A shop does not improve because we look at it. If a statement is unclear, a figure is wrong or a page misleads you, write to info@shukchok.com. I read it myself.
