Buying Gas analytics — what matters in the selection
In gas analysis the sample conditioning decides the measurement quality. The best analyser returns wrong values if the sample gas loses moisture on its way to the detector, adsorbs components on line walls or carries condensate.
The shukchok range covers the chain from sampling probe through gas cooler, filter and sample lines to evaluation. Components are listed so they combine into a continuous sampling train.
For biogas, landfill gas and process applications: material choice and dew-point control are not details but the core of measurement accuracy.
Selection criteria
Stay reliably below the dew point
Sample gas must be cooled stably below the dew point before the detector — otherwise water condenses inside the instrument. Gas coolers are part of the sampling train, not an accessory.
Low-adsorption materials
Stainless steel and PTFE keep polar components in the gas phase. Galvanised or rubber-lined lines falsify readings, particularly with sulphur compounds and ammonia.
Heated lines for condensable components
Wherever the sample can cool between probe and cooler a heated line belongs in the design — otherwise the very component to be measured drops out.
Filter stages ahead of the analyser
Particles destroy pumps and detectors. Coarse filtration at the probe plus a fine filter before the instrument extend service life considerably.

Why do I need a sample gas cooler?
Analysers measure in the gas phase. If water condenses inside the instrument the readings shift and optics or cell get damaged. The cooler lowers the dew point in a defined and stable way before the gas reaches the detector.
Which tubing suits moist sample gases?
PTFE and stainless steel. Both adsorb little and are chemically resistant. With condensable components run them heated so the target component does not drop out.
Can I get a complete sampling train from one source?
Yes. Sampling, cooling, filtration and tubing can be assembled as a matched package. State gas type, flow rate, humidity and target components and our technical sales team will put the chain together.

Yes. Data sheets, dimensional drawings and manuals are — where provided by the manufacturer — filed under “Downloads” on each product and accessible without an account. If a document is missing we will supply it on request.
Who is my contractual partner when I order?

Can I return gas analytics?
Unused stock items can be returned within the statutory and contractual rules. Items made or configured to customer specification are excluded from return. Please register a return in advance so we can allocate the process.
