Three sizes, one design. What separates them, and what to settle before the machine arrives.
The EC series are textile cleaning machines for hydrocarbon solvent. They work as a closed system with vacuum distillation, and the machine recovers 99.9 per cent of the solvent. The three sizes differ in load capacity — 15, 24 and 35 kg — and in everything that follows from it: drum, tanks, footprint, weight.
Who builds them
EazyClean Technologies GmbH has been based in Herten, North Rhine-Westphalia, since 2005 and builds commercial dry-cleaning machines for textiles.
The company states that its machines are certified to ISO 9001, VDMA, DTV, TÜV NRW and CE, and that more than 1,000 machines had been delivered to over 50 countries by 2023. Those are the manufacturer’s own figures; we mark them as such rather than presenting them as a measurement of ours.

A closed system, and what that means in practice
The solvent circulates; it is not consumed. Vacuum distillation and activated-carbon filtering return 99.9 per cent of it to the tanks. What you buy in is therefore not the running cost but the first charge — 260 to 490 litres depending on the size.
The control is a freely programmable touchscreen, so a programme can be built for a fabric instead of picking the nearest of five presets.
The drum hangs, so the floor does not carry the spin
The drum is suspended on a pendulum mount, which absorbs the forces of the extraction cycle. That is why no anchoring into the floor is required — an argument for an upper floor, and for anyone who does not want to drill into a screed.
Solvents
The machines run on hydrocarbon solvent and are compatible with the alternative solvents, among them INTENSE®, SENSENE®, HIGLO®, GREEN EARTH® and SOLVONK4®. Which one suits your goods is a question of the textiles, not of the machine.
What to settle before installation
- Steam: 4–6 bar at a 1/2″ connection, condensate 1/2″. The EC 135 is offered with steam heating only.
- Cooling water: 3/4″ for the machine and 3/4″ for the distillation, 3–5 bar, maximum 20 °C. Distillation needs the temperature, not only the pressure.
- Electrical supply: 3 × 400 V / 50 Hz. Maximum current draw between 20 and 42 A, depending on size and heating.
- Compressed air: 1/4″, 5 bar.
- Floor: dynamic load 2,351 to 3,390 N. No anchoring needed, but the floor has to take the operating weight of 1,800 to 2,595 kg.
- The route in: up to 234 cm wide and 255 cm high. Doorways, lift and floor loading decide whether the machine reaches the room at all.
A used machine
We also carry a used EC 124. Its technical data match the new machine; condition and equipment of the individual unit are agreed with you before purchase. For used goods, claims for defects are excluded — which is exactly why the condition is settled in advance and not afterwards.
