What is set, what for, and how to change it
Cookies on shukchok.com
Necessary cookies keep the cart, your sign-in and the protection of our forms working — no consent is required for those. Anything beyond that is set only once you have agreed. Which cookies those are in detail is listed below; the inventory comes from the most recent pass over this website.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files used to store small pieces of information. They are stored on your device when a website loads in your browser.
They help ensure that a website functions at all, enhance security, make it more comfortable to use, and allow performance to be analysed — that is, to identify what works and where improvements are needed.
How we use cookies
Like most online services, this website uses both first-party and third-party cookies. The first-party ones are primarily there so that the website works; they collect nothing by which a person could be identified.
Third-party cookies help us understand how the website performs, keep our services secure, and make later visits faster. With your agreement, services may additionally be loaded that analyse usage or deliver advertising.
The basis on which we set them
Cookies without which the shop does not work may be set without your consent. These cover the cart, your sign-in, the protection of our forms against automated access, and the storage of your cookie decision itself.
Everything else is set only once you have agreed in the cookie dialog, and only in the categories you selected there. Processing of the data so collected rests on your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR.
Your decision is logged. That is not incidental: anyone processing on the basis of consent must be able to demonstrate it (Art. 7(1) GDPR).
Who the recipients are
The shop runs on Shopify, so some necessary and functional cookies originate there. Shopify’s own statistics run only with your agreement to the Analytics category.
With your agreement, services from Google may also be loaded — Google Analytics under Analytics, and Google Ads and Google Shopping including remarketing under Advertising. The provider is Google Ireland Ltd.; data is thereby also transferred to Google LLC in the United States. That transfer rests on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses and on the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Types of cookies we use
The inventory below comes from the pass over this website and is rebuilt on every further one. That is why it appears here as an embedded inventory rather than a typed-out table: a hand-kept copy would be wrong after the next change to the shop, and nobody would notice.
Manage cookie preferences
You can change your selection at any time. The button reopens the consent dialog, where each category can be set separately and consent withdrawn immediately. The same route is available via “Cookie settings” in the footer of every page.
Withdrawal takes effect for the future; it does not retroactively make unlawful any processing that rested on your consent up to that point (Art. 7(3) GDPR).
Deleting cookies in your browser
Separately from this, you can delete cookies already set in your browser and prevent new ones from being set. Every vendor handles it differently; the guides below lead to the relevant settings. If you use a different browser, please refer to its own help.
Necessary cookies will be set again after deletion as soon as you use the shop — without them there would be no cart.
How this relates to the other documents
This page covers cookies and comparable techniques only. How we process personal data otherwise — on registration, when you order, and in your account — is set out in the privacy policy. The privacy policy does not form part of the terms and conditions, and the choice of law made there does not extend to it.
