OMRON Corporation, headquartered in Kyoto, Japan, was founded in 1933 by Kazuma Tateisi and, according to the company, employs more than 28,000 people in around 130 countries. Relevant to our range is the Industrial Automation business, which develops and manufactures control components for factory automation, including proximity switches, safety switches, sensors, relays and the Sysmac automation platform. The group is also active in healthcare technology, automotive electronics, electronic components and social systems.
