Industrial spare parts for surface treatment in Toulouse

Toulouse is the aerospace capital of France, and for a parts basket that is the wrong headline. Your baths run whatever the airframes do, so what they consume is not a spare part but a running cost — and it carries a price on shukchok, at the same five places on every line.

Surface treatment works: an open hall with a row of process baths and an overhead handling rail, roof ducting leading to a scrubber column with its stack, round clarifier basins and a filter press alongside, drums on a bunded deck in front

Your line

Six million parts a year, and not one of them assembled here

One treatment works in the area employs 1,080 people and treats six million parts a year in anodising, chemical milling, shot peening and painting. That is not final assembly; it is process plant with a conveyor through it.

And process plant wears chemically and thermally rather than mechanically. A seal chosen for the degreasing stage meets a different medium four metres later, and it fails quietly — until a bath is down and the whole line behind it is waiting.

Which is why shukchok, an open marketplace for industrial goods, puts material and operating limits as a table at the position, with the price above them and no login in between.

  • Price and specification table on all 114 articles, no account needed
  • 1,080 employees and 69.1 million euro of turnover at one works
  • One basket across several manufacturers, one ordering process

Where it consumes

A wet chemical line, in the order it wears out

Every treatment line runs this sequence, whatever it treats — and the same five places come back on the reorder list each time.

  1. Degreasing and pre-treatment

Alkaline or acidic, warm, and the first place a seal meets a chemistry it was not chosen for. Pumps, valves and gaskets here see the widest swing in medium of anywhere on the line.

  2. The process bath

Held at temperature and concentration for hours. Heating, circulation and level control run continuously, which makes this the part of the line with the most predictable consumption — and the easiest to plan for.

  3. Rinse cascade

Counter-current rinsing saves water and multiplies the number of connections. More joints means more gaskets, and drag-out carries chemistry into places that were designed for water alone.

  4. Extraction and scrubbing

Aerosols come off every heated bath. The duct, the scrubber and the fan behind them are where filtration and sealing meet corrosion arriving from the vapour side rather than the liquid one.

  5. Drying and rinse water treatment

Heat again, then a treatment plant with its own pumps, filters and instruments. The line ends where a small effluent works begins, and that works has a reorder list of its own.

Four things that are different here

What a Toulouse process buyer deals with

  • Baths rather than assembly lines

The wear is chemical and thermal. An elastomer that shrugs off hot water swells in a solvent, and the difference shows up at the seal long before it shows up in the product.

  • Two builds running at once

A biosimilar centre at 150 million euro and a Seveso-classified paracetamol plant whose permit was granted in September 2025, with first batches now moved to 2028. A plant under construction becomes a plant under maintenance.

  • Extraction is half the plant

Every heated bath produces aerosol. Ducting, scrubbing and filtration are as much of the line as the tanks are, and they corrode from the inside where nobody looks first.

  • A dated buying rhythm

The regional industry fair draws around 700 exhibitors and 15,000 industrial visitors a year. Specifying happens there; reordering happens all year, and that is the part a catalogue covers.

For plant and equipment builders

You build the line. Here you can also sell what keeps it running.

An aerospace region is a manufacturing region first. If you build baths, pumps, scrubbers, handling gear or the fittings between them, the buyers described above are within an hour of your gate — and they search before they specify.

On this marketplace your range goes online without a listing fee, without a monthly fee and without waiting for a manual approval. You keep your prices; checkout, invoicing and payment run through us.

And a line has more positions than any one maker covers. That is the point of an open shelf: the bath heater, the level probe and the compression fitting can come from three companies and still arrive in one ordering process.

  • No listing fee, no monthly fee, no manual product approval
  • Data sheets and categories hang on the article as metadata
  • Contract, invoicing and payment handling stay with us

Prices without registration, and no claim that an article suits a chemistry it was never tested in; that is what the article data is for. If you build for these lines, list what you make.
