Industrial spare parts for Bordeaux and the port of Bassens

Everyone associates Bordeaux with wine. What gets reordered on shukchok comes off a procedure, so it is not a spare part but a dated obligation: a port zone across 60 per cent of a commune, five Seveso sites, and a maintenance plan that does not care how the year is going.

Port industrial zone on a tidal river: a bulk carrier with deck cranes at the quay, a tall process tower with a row of silos, extraction columns in a steel frame, storage tanks against pine forest, and drums on a bunded deck in the foreground

Your inspection calendar

A part replaced because a procedure says so is a part you can plan

A heightened safety regime carries continuing obligations: monitoring, inspection, documented maintenance. None of that waits for a good year, and none of it moves because the market moved.

What does move is the buying. The date is fixed months ahead, the requisition goes out late, and then five enquiries and three quotations decide whether a gasket in the right material arrives before the date does.

So shukchok puts the price up without a login and the specification table under it — an open marketplace for industrial goods rather than one supplier range. You compare a material against your own procedure instead of against a sales call.

  • Price and specification table on all 114 articles, no account needed
  • One basket across several manufacturers, one ordering process
  • Purchase order number and cost centre as fields in the basket

Four operations on one quay

What a regulated zone reorders

  • Synthetic rubber at the waterfront

A petrochemical Seveso site with 460 employees and several tens of thousands of tonnes a year. Polymerisation is heat, pressure and sealing, and a reactor seal follows the plan rather than the symptom.

  • Oilseed crushing and extraction

Crushing, extraction and refining run on steam and on solvent recovery. Both consume the same classes of part, plus everything the solvent side needs to stay tight while it does.

  • Fertiliser production upriver

Classified at the upper Seveso tier. The most heavily regulated end of the zone, and therefore the most procedure-driven in its maintenance — which is the most predictable in its purchasing.

  • A second, quite different rhythm

A biennial trade fair for cellar, storage and bottling technology has run since 1977. Specifying happens at the fair; reordering happens all year, and that part runs through a catalogue.

If you issue the papers

Documented supply is not a range — it is a marketplace

A Seveso procedure asks for papers as well as parts: an inspection certificate to EN 10204, a calibration record, a category on the article. No single range carries all of that for every position on a plant.

An open marketplace does not have to. Manufacturers and distributors who hold those papers anyway hang them on the article as metadata and deliver through the same basket the operator next door uses — without building a shop of their own.

That is free of charge here: no listing fee, no monthly fee, no manual approval. Our margin exists on a position that sells, so the shelf costs you nothing while it fills.

  • Certificates and categories ride along as article metadata
  • Your prices stay yours, your name stands at the position
  • Contract, invoicing and payment handling stay with us

Frequently asked

Questions from the Gironde

Are your parts approved for a Seveso installation?
Approval is a property of an article and its documentation, not of a supplier. Where your procedure requires an inspection certificate to EN 10204 or a calibration record, order from a listing that carries it — and that is exactly the listing an open marketplace grows.
Do you deliver into the port zone at Bassens?
Deliveries go to any address in France through the EU shipping zone, with no customs step. Access, unloading and site rules are settled by the works you deliver to.
How is VAT handled?
With a confirmed TVA number the intra-Community supply is invoiced at 0 %. The French rate of 20 % applies as the fallback where the number is missing or cannot be confirmed.
We make bottling and cellar equipment — can we sell it here?
Yes. Listing is free of charge, without a monthly fee and without manual approval, and your positions go into the same basket as everyone else’s. You keep your prices; we handle checkout, invoicing and payment.

Two ways into the basket

Order what the procedure schedules — or supply it

Prices are visible without registration, and the specification stands at the position. If you issue certificates yourself, this is where they belong on an article.
