KEMET Corporation is a manufacturer of passive electronic components founded in 1919 and based in Fort Lauderdale, Florida (USA). The company manufactures capacitors in tantalum, aluminium, ceramic, film and polymer electrolytic technologies as well as EMC components, inductors, sensors, actuators and relays. Since June 2020 KEMET has been a wholly owned subsidiary of the Taiwanese YAGEO Corporation; the domain kemet.com now redirects entirely to the YAGEO Group website.
