Sizing needs flow rate, inlet and outlet temperature on both media plus the permissible pressure drop. Supply those four figures and you get a sound recommendation.
Transferable capacity depends on both sides. Sizing on the primary side alone regularly results in undersized exchangers.
More transfer area means more pressure drop. Check that the existing pump carries the additional resistance.
Copper, stainless steel and titanium behave completely differently towards chloride-bearing water. With aggressive media the material, not the design, is the cost driver.
Pressure vessels are subject to inspection depending on the pressure-volume product. Clarify which documentation acceptance requires before procurement.
