Copper, stainless steel and titanium behave completely differently towards chloride-bearing water. With aggressive media the material, not the design, is the cost driver.
Clarify approval and inspection duty
Pressure vessels are subject to inspection depending on the pressure-volume product. Clarify which documentation acceptance requires before procurement.

Flow rate, inlet and required outlet temperature per medium plus the maximum permissible pressure drop. Those figures allow the required transfer area to be determined reliably.
Are the pressure vessels subject to mandatory inspection?
That depends on pressure, volume and medium. Classification follows the applicable industrial safety regulation; the technical data per item provides the basis for assessment by your competent person.
Can I get replacement gaskets for plate heat exchangers?
Where the manufacturer offers gasket sets they can be ordered separately. We need type, plate count and year of manufacture — for older units a photo of the nameplate helps.
